What We Believe, Spring 2022

About

Interfaith Partnership of Greater St. Louis's course “What We Believe” explores the diversity of thought and practice within Christianity. This hybrid course meets virtually Mondays from Feb. 28-April 4, 7pm-8:30pm, via Zoom and in-person at Webster Groves Presbyterian Church.

Rev. Jim Poinsett, IPSTL’s Executive Director, is leading this six-part course exploring the different expressions of Christianity including: Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Reformed Protestantism, Episcopalian, Historically Black Protestantism, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Christian Science. We hear directly from practitioners about their tradition’s beliefs, practices, histories, and struggles. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their thoughts throughout the semester.

This course is open to all, regardless of level of familiarity with different religious traditions, but registration is required.
